New Direction for Soaring VisionsWith the start of this new year, there is a new direction for Soaring Visions:
This now is a production name for cosplay videos written and edited by Dennasaur along with the assistance of those whom were a part of the group such as Hawke, Nalyxa, Amara, Pyro, Fell, and Cloud. There will also be other wonderful people featured, as well.

No longer is Soaring Visions a cosplay group that works to have a new group costume theme planned out for every convention. Instead, the focus has changed to just video production using various media series. SV has not gone away at all, just switched to a new definition! So, please stay tuned for more cosplay videos than before to be uploaded for your enjoyment!

Lost print at Taiyou con? =OHey, everyone! I'll write a Taiyou Con report as soon as I get more pictures... in the meantime, I have another matter to address:
At Taiyou Con, someone who had bought a print from me accidentally left it at another table in the artist alley. The print was later returned to me and the artist at the other table told me that it was lost. I held onto it in case the person would come and ask about it, but they never showed up. Apparently they wanted it autographed, too...
So, if you bought a print from me and lost it, I'd like you to send me a message describing what the print looked like and what size it was...so I know for sure that you are the one who lost it. I'd like to return it to you!

I was Bak... and I really need to re-make the pants. Before the masquerade I lost my hat on my way to the restroom and started freaking out (that hat literally makes the cosplay). I don't know how long I was looking for it (along with Den Mamma and other nice people) before this amazing girl (also in the green room for the masquerade) found it! Thank you so much! <3

Saboten Con Line-Up and Stuff!Yeah!  Stuff!
So Saboten is in a week.  Thankfully I'm not frantically trying to get stuff done because for the most part...it is done.  Speaking of not trying to get stuff done--I'm in a really tough and demanding semester, so I won't be sewing very much.  I'm taking a little break until December or otherwise stated.  So we'll see what happens then.
But anyway, Saboten is coming up and I'm most definitely looking forward to it!  I'm particularly excited for this year for a number of reasons.  One: it's probably the best con in Arizona, two: it's in a new, fabulous location, three: we have fabulous panels selected, four: we have an awesome skit lined up for the masquerade, and five: *pikminlink, the cosplayer I look up to the most is going to be a guest there.

Oz, SWP, and I applied for an artist alley table for Taiyou con 2013. We were on the waiting list for a while and we just recently got the good news!
I must warn all of you ahead of time that this means I will be doing various polls to get an idea of what people would buy (it does not matter if you are going to Taiyou or not or even if you are not interested, it is just to see what the most popular product would be).

I've been putting off Rin for a while. I will get to him one day for Banzai's group cosplay but to be honest I just want to cosplay more girls right now and don't really have a desire to cosplay guys much anymore (excluding current crossplays and Lyserg).

Holidays and ConsSorry I've been so quiet lately guys!!
Let's start from the beginning lol Christmas was amazing I had a blast with my family and got a ton of things I asked for including my new 19" HD TV for my Xbox so I can play games in high def. now YAY! Also I got a few of my games and some new toys for my camera!
New Years was amazing as well got to hang with my family, my friends, and my boyfriend. We all had a blast setting off fireworks and having a light saber fight in the park XD
Then Taiyou con came about and HOLY CRAP SO MUCH FUN!! I got to take a bunch of photos while hanging with friends! The amazing :iconAlmost-Focused: let me borrow his equipment as well for photoshoots so I am super excited to have some new shots with the girls!!
And now onto the next part of the year! I have no idea what cosplay I want to start first xD I just love so many!!! And if I am quiet again guys school just started again for me and I already have a ton to do xD So hopefully my responses won't be too bad!!

With those two up, we're looking into doing some new stuff too. Primarily some DC Comics projects and some more Avatar projects. I also hope to finally start filming Behind the Bulter (Black Butler) Episode 1 soon, because we all know how long that one has been on the backburner XD

Hey everyone~Sorry about being so quiet here on my journals!
Let's give you the run down of Saboten....it went by way to freaking fast! Showed up the first day in Sandplay which was again a blast to wear! I love that big poofy ball gown! We went to a Vocaloid gathering photoshoot meetup thing with :iconAlmost-Focused: which was really cool! There were so many Vocaloid cosplayers <3 Go check out his page if you want to see the amazing amount of beautiful cosplayers in that one shot~ After that we headed off to our panel and blasted through that, was so much fun I love meeting new people and our fans, JUST SO MUCH FUN! We also had the amazing pleasure of meeting :iconpikminlink: if you don't know who she is go look at her page now please you are missing out on the awesomeness!
Day 2 was of course our D. Gray Man cosplays <3 So much love for these even though we sweat to death! The morning was crazy getting everyone ready for our judging panels and barging into our friends hotel room XD They are

Just letting you guys know that I'm still alive. And I also want another journal with the kitty skin. I've just been very busy because school has been........eventful. In addition to other things piling on top, I haven't exactly been in an ideal place. But fortunately, my last day is next Friday and a lot of things should be cleared up after that for a long while, so hopefully I'll be more active.

Taiyou Con

Taiyou con is this weekend! Oz, SWP, and Valda will have an artist alley table! We will be selling a few 4x6 cosplay prints! More specifically, Oz will be selling keychains (Vocaloid, Pandora Hearts, etc...) and fanarts, SWP will be selling flower hairpins, and Valda will be selling "Rin" bows ((cotton) white, (satin) light/dark blue, purple, black etc...) Cheshire will be running around taking pictures. It will be a pretty relaxed con.

*Just a heads up for anyone planning to buy anything from us, we do not have a credit card reader and can only accept cash.

UPDATE: Whatever we do not sell at Taiyou, we will most likely sell online probably through Ebay

Anyway, thank you to all of our new watchers and thanks for the support!
